The ideal candidate will have prior people management experience. However, experienced strata professionals who want to take the next step in their career to lead and motivate a team of experienced strata managing agents are encouraged to apply.

We seek a Strata Team Leader to join our North Management Branch in Darwin, NT. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this key role leads the day-to-day operations of our strata managing agents. You’ll join a team that prides itself on having fun while working hard to be the best in the industry.
Role Objectives
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small team
• Operations Management & Support: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to set and monitor goals, support the team by celebrating successes and learning from mistakes, ensure compliance with procedures and policies, oversee quality control, and provide coaching and training. Provide backup support for staff as required.
• Staff Management: Foster a culture of openness and information sharing, manage people management tasks including leave requests, hold monthly 1:1 conversations, address performance issues, partner with People Experience to hire top talent, and onboard and train new staff.
• Maintain an individual portfolio of buildings adjusted to sufficiently allow for Team Leader responsibilities. Provide backup Meeting support for staff as required, including coordination and control of holiday leave and portfolio management
Experience & Education
• You have at least two years of prior management or supervisory experience, preferably in the professional services industry—E.g. Real estate, financial services, legal, insurance, etc.
• Diploma or degree (preferred) in management or related field.
• Leadership competencies include building trust, delegating responsibilities, planning and organising, identifying and selecting talent, coaching and developing employees, and building a successful team.
• Strata knowledge of (or ability to learn) the role of the client and strata operations and how those roles interface.
