Hospitality All Rounder

Purpose:

As Hospitality All Rounder, your role is crucial in establishing the ambiance for our guests' stay, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome. Your primary dedication lies in Housekeeping, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to maintain the utmost cleanliness and presentation in both guest rooms and public areas, thereby ensuring a top-tier guest experience. Moreover, you'll lend essential support as a Porter, flexibly adapting to the evolving demands of our business. Your extraordinary versatility enables you to effortlessly shift between Housekeeping and Porter responsibilities in addition to other departments as required, resulting in unforgettable guest experiences that span from their initial arrival to their departure.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean all sections of the guest rooms, such as changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces
• Ensure the property always looks its best, with a keen focus on both indoor and outdoor public areas to meet our high cleanliness and presentation standards
• Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
• Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems, to damaged equipment and missing items
• Storing luggage and delivering bags to and from rooms will be part of your hands-on duties
• Confident in communicating with guests and colleagues to ensure cohesive collaboration

Skills and Experience:

• Skilled at collaborating within teams, as well as working independently
• You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
• Previous experience within a cleaning role or as a porter is a valuable asset
• Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Drivers licence – possessing a drivers licence is advantageous, but not a requirement
• Your communication style is warm and welcoming where guests and team members alike feel right at home around you!
