Guest Service Agent
We are looking for a proactive and confident Guest Service Agent at Mantra on Queen who thrives in a solo working environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will need to be responsible, adaptable, and ready to take ownership of your shift.
This is a hands-on role that goes beyond reception—our GSAs manage reservations, facilitate the reservations inbox, and assist with conferencing, including set-up, pack-down, and even washing dishes.

Casual loading on all hourly rates! Base rate of $25.80. With Loadings: Monday - Friday $32.25ph, Saturday $38.70ph, Sunday $45.15ph and Public Holidays $64.50ph!
Primary Responsibilities
- Roll out the red carpet of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels like a VIP from check-in to check-out
- Confident in communicating with guests and colleagues, fostering seamless collaboration in a solo or team environment
- Take ownership of guest requests and challenges, transforming dilemmas into memorable experiences
- Promote hotel amenities and services through a deep understanding of products and offerings
- Be the local legend, sharing insights on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems
- Manage reservations, including facilitating the reservations inbox with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with conference set-up, pack-down, and support tasks, including dishwashing, to ensure seamless event delivery
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is a valuable asset
- Innovative approach to exceeding customer service expectations
- Ability to work independently with confidence and responsibility
- Proven multitasking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure, supported by strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required
