Purpose
Are you a numbers guru with a passion for leading teams and making things run smoother than a perfectly balanced spreadsheet? We’re on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our dynamic Shared Services AP team. This role is about managing the accounts payable process for over 100 properties, guiding a top-notch team, and continuously improving workflows. What You’ll Do:
• Take the lead on managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring everything from invoice processing to payment scheduling is smooth and efficient
• Master vendor relationships by overseeing everything from statement checks to timely response times
• Lead compliance on regular supplier audits, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Supervise and grow a team of accounts payable specialists, providing them with the tools and guidance to succeed
• Keep a watchful eye on the AP Bot, working alongside our Systems Development team to troubleshoot errors and implement improvements
• Make month-end a breeze by ensuring all AP processes are wrapped up on time
• Be the champion for process improvements, always on the lookout for ways to automate and boost efficiency within the accounts payable function
• Train, coach, and inspire your team, building a culture that values continuous learning and high performance
• Onboard new properties into the Shared Services AP world, ensuring they hit the ground running with comprehensive training and support
What You’ll Bring:
• At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
• A track record of successfully managing teams and driving operational improvements
• Strong communication skills – you’ll need to work closely with multiple departments/properties, so being able to collaborate and get things done is key
• Comfort with high-volume invoicing – you’re a pro at handling large amounts of data and keeping it all organized
• Time management superpowers to keep things on track and meet deadlines
