Purpose

As our Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will collaborate with department managers playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and stress-free execution of weddings and various events. Your primary aim is to assist clients in planning, organising, and executing their special occasions with precision and ease.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the entire process, from initial meet and greets to site inspections and managing contractors
  • Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and clients to ensure smooth delivery of events
  • All administrative elements of events such as preparation of event orders, run sheets, payment and account settlement
  • Address any issues or unexpected challenges that may arise during the planning and execution of events
  • Develop a marketing plan in relation to weddings and active campaign including attending any trade shows or fairs as required
  • Connect with clients in the lead up to, during and following their wedding or event
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to guarantee a smooth event experience

 

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in a comparable role, ideally with a background in orchestrating weddings and events
  • Proven dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring memorable guest experiences
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (essential) 
  • Experience with specialist wedding & events PMS platforms (desired)
  • Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail and well developed verbal and written communication skills 
  • The ability to work across weekdays as well as when required weekends, public holidays and evenings
