Maintenance Supervisor

Purpose

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind keeping our equipment and facilities running like a well-oiled machine. You will skilfully manage resources and employ your expertise to consistently achieve top-notch performance and safety standards day in and day out.

Primary Responsibilities

• Keep the building in tip-top shape by overseeing Body Corporate equipment, coordinating timely repairs, and ensuring nothing skips a beat
• Take ownership of repairs and maintenance, working closely with trusted contractors and suppliers to keep things running like clockwork
• Proactively seek out opportunities for improvement, arranging quotes and presenting ideas for consideration
• Help create a harmonious community by supporting the smooth enforcement of building guidelines for residents and guests
• Jump in to tackle everyday maintenance tasks, from general repairs and pool maintenance to touch-up painting, with pride and professionalism – no two days are the same
• Be the hero on call for emergency maintenance even beyond regular hours – handling power failures, fire system resets, and mechanical meltdowns
• Effective communication at all levels, from the General Manager, to guests and contractors working onsite

Skills and Experience

• Previous property maintenance experience within a strata / MLR operation (desired)
• The ability to be a team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and collaborative approach
• Confident understanding of WHS legislation and safety compliance
• A multitasking champion with an initiative-taking spirit, skilled in juggling multiple tasks and projects while keeping that preventative maintenance schedule in tip-top shape
• Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
