Director of Revenue
Purpose
As the Director of Revenue, your primary responsibility is to meticulously oversee and enhance the performance of Mantra Melbourne Epping. By leveraging your strategic insights and market expertise, you will identify, seize, and nurture opportunities to exceed targets, ensuring our hotel thrives and prospers, contributing significantly to the overall success of the company. This role is a full time permanent opportunity and offers onsite car parking and a hybrid work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for Mantra Melbourne Epping across all market segments
- Work closely with the property General Manager, Owners and Regional teams on all aspects of revenue maximisation
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly statistics and monitor trends utilising company reports
- Evaluate group business strategies to ensure the attainment of the most favourable market mix
- Resolve operational challenges through professionalism, innovation and leadership
- Focus on lowering distribution costs and driving room nights to branded web
- Manage the relationship with online market managers to maximise the region’s exposure through these distribution channels.
- Enhance market share and revenue results by implementing effective pricing strategies, optimising inventory controls, and managing product mix efficiently
Skills and Experience
- Revenue Management & Pricing Strategy: Expertise in dynamic pricing, forecasting, and optimizing Inventory, revenue and market share across multi-property portfolios.
- Analytical & Commercial Insight: Advanced skills in Excel, data analytics, and business intelligence tools to support pricing decisions, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Understand market trends, competitive benchmarking, and segmentation for actionable pricing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Effective communicator that present insights and recommends cross-functional teams, property leadership, and corporate stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Track record of aligning revenue strategies with organisational goals, driving measurable improvements in RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Experienced in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and forecasts to support data-driven decisions and performance tracking.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Agile and solution-focused mindset
- Experience in using PMS & RMS Platforms including Opera Cloud, IDeaS, RMS, Lighthouse, Nor1 desirable
