Purpose

As the Hotel Services Supervisor, your responsibility is to craft unforgettable experiences throughout the guest journey, from check-in to check-out. Your leadership will inspire and guide the various teams you work with, ensuring the hotel operates seamlessly. 

Salary: $68,870.00 annually

Primary Responsibilities

• Take the helm and guide the front office’s day-to-day operations with expertise
• Lead the Front Office Team like a mentor, nurturing growth and skill-building in a supportive atmosphere
• Collaborate with guests, extending a helping hand to find solutions for any challenges that may arise
• Managing staff rosters and monitoring attendance
• Assess operational needs and assign tasks in various teams, including housekeeping staff, porters, and door attendants
•  Collaborating with management to align departmental functions with broader hotel operations 
• Communicating and upholding safety protocols among team members
• Supervising team performance and recommending process enhancements
• Engaging with employees to address and resolve workplace concerns
• Assisting with front office and guest reception responsibilities when required

Skills and Experience

• A background in Hotel Operations, ideal for someone eager to take the next stride towards a leadership position
• Proficiency in using reservation and property management systems is a plus
• Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure, fuelled by epic organisational and time management skills
• Masterful in the art of communication, both written and spoken
• Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
