Business Performance Manager
Purpose
The Business Performance Manager is responsible for driving commercial performance of the Sebel Twin Towns Coolangatta, through collaboration across the Twin Towns precinct including the Twin Towns Club. The role will act as the first point of contact for all relevant sales and marketing activities between Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts and Accor. This role works in collaboration with Accor Commercial Team and Twin Towns Club & Resorts to be a driving force in leveraging Accor’s commercial platforms, systems, and capabilities, whilst ensuring compliance with KPIs and strategic pillars.
Role is based on site within the Hotel, reporting to the General Manager of Sebel Twin Towns Coolangatta.
Primary Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue targets by managing sales activities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Optimize the Hotels and the Club’s occupancy and pricing based on demand forecasting, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities to adapt strategies.
- Prepare and manage the commercial budget, setting sales targets and forecasting revenue performance in conjunction with Revenue Management team.
- Work closely with other departments; operations, front office, and M&E team to ensure seamless guest experience and maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in hotel sales and marketing with a record of accomplishment of achieving revenue goals
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles and techniques
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and online distribution channels
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively
