About the role
Our migration programs and services protect and uphold the health, dignity and wellbeing of vulnerable migrants in Australia.
Through providing individualised casework support to migrants in transition, you will assist clients to set and attain identified goals, and work in collaboration with other agencies and organisations. In addition you will contribute to co-design process and adapt and innovate ways of working in order to improve Red Cross’s response to the needs of migrants in transition.
 
What you will bring
  • Sound casework/ case management experience including holistic assessment of client needs and development of case plans.
  • Experience in working with marginalised people in the community
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working competently with staff and clients from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds with respect and humility
  • A current working with children check
  • Drivers licence

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award – Level 4, salary from $85,145.84.
