The Opportunity

Taringa Parkside is a quiet, leafy and upmarket retirement living community located in a tucked-away street in the heart of Taringa, QLD. We have an opportunity for a Domestic Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team on a permanent part-time basis to assist with the cleaning of residents living in our Assisted Living apartments. You will work closely with our friendly team to support our residents with housekeeping, laundry and general domestic cleaning duties. You'll enjoy working within a fast-paced environment and delivering a high-quality, customer-centred approach to domestic care.

This is a permanent part-time role working 16 hours a week - Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm (times may be negotiable) . This is a great role for someone returning to the workforce, looking to step down from their career, who comes from a similar role or loves interacting with people!

You will

• Deliver high-quality cleaning services within resident's apartments, units and common areas including floors, bathrooms, kitchens and general housekeeping
• Deliver thorough service to residents and fellow staff members by attending to resident requests and community emergencies 
• Enjoy building relationships and being a friendly face to residents 
• Provide assistance to the residents and community with general ad-hoc tasks 

What you will bring

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or laundry service roles (highly desired)
• Current Police Check Check (required, but we can complete for you!)
• Minimum two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
