The Opportunity
Nestled within 42 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in the leafy suburb of Ashmore, The Domain Country Club is a resort-style retirement community with an on-site Clubhouse Bistro. Working closely with the Chef Manager, you'll prepare, cook and present meals in our new Clubhouse restaurant and for our daily dining room residents. As a hands-on Chef, you'll have experience in volume catering with high standards of meal presentation. If you enjoy working autonomously and in a small team, this is a great opportunity.
This is a full-time position working: Monday 10-5.30pm, Tuesday 10.30-8pm, Wednesday 12-8pm, Thursday 10.30-8pm and Friday 09.30-6pm. These hours are subject to change slightly as we work through the opening hours of our Clubhouse Bistro.

You will:
- Ensure quality meal services to residents and any visitors to the restaurant
- Prepare, cook, present and deliver meals according to recipes with high attention to detail
- Monitor food safety plans and ensure the kitchen is adhering to all OH&S standards
- Manage stock - assist with ordering, stock rotation, stocktake etc.
- Manage the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Work with fellow Food & Beverage or Cook/Chef staff to ensure smooth operations
What you'll bring
- Experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings (e.g experience in food preparation or Chef roles)
- Certificate III in Commerical Cookery (required)
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
