About the Role
This is a key position within a dynamic Health Safety & Environment (HSE) team, operating in a diverse operational environment across residential communities, holiday parks, and development sites.
You’ll work closely with others in the HSE function who bring a mix of strategic and administrative capability, allowing you to focus on strengthening systems, supporting site and corporate teams, and helping embed safe, practical work practices. The role offers the chance to influence while being supported by a broader team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring documents are current, user-friendly, and aligned with WHS legislation and best practice.
- Administer the HSE software platform (Beakon), managing configuration, workflows, reporting dashboards, and user support to ensure system efficiency and data integrity.
- Design and deliver HSE training and onboarding to build practical knowledge and capability across operational teams and leaders.
- Coordinate documentation and internal processes related to workers’ compensation and public liability claims, working closely with external providers to ensure timely and accurate support.
- Provide operational support where required through incident investigations, audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up alongside HSE Business Partners.
- Monitor site risk controls, fire safety, and hazard reporting processes, and contribute to the development of practical solutions to reduce risk.
- Support the delivery of internal HSE projects and improvement initiatives through effective planning, communication, and collaboration with stakeholders.
About You
- Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma highly regarded)
- Proven experience in a HSE advisory or systems-focused role
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and risk management
- Experience with HSE software platforms (Beakon experience desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience delivering training and supporting operational teams
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive mindset
- Background in tourism, residential, or construction sectors (desirable)
- Ability for occasional travel to sites up and down the East Coast of Australia
