Why this role?

We’re excited to offer a rare leadership opportunity to open and lead the clinical team of our brand new Epping Grand Care Community—a 132-bed home across four stories, forming part of a landmark development in the heart of Epping, NSW. With practical completion expected in August and residents arriving from November 2025, this is your chance to shape a care community from the ground up and establish a thriving, person-centred culture from day one.

As Clinical Care Manager, you’ll assist the General Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver 24/7 nursing care, including long-term, dementia, palliative and respite services. Like all Opal Care Communities, Epping Grand will be built around connection and purpose—with initiatives like intergenerational programs, live-in pets, community events, book clubs, and more helping to create a vibrant sense of belonging.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the clinical operations of a purpose-driven aged care home
• Inspire, support, and grow a diverse team of clinical professionals
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and team
• Drive performance across care quality and compliance

What you’ll bring:

• Experience as a Clinical Care Manager or senior leader with current AHPRA registration
• A natural ability to influence culture, engage teams, and lead with heart
• A strong commercial mindset, paired with a passion for delivering quality care
• Exceptional communication skills and a hands-on leadership style
• A deep understanding of quality frameworks and regulatory standards

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• Experience in Leadership or Management role is desired
• RN AHPRA Registration
• Ability to lead and take control of the clinical aspects of the operation
