LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Officer

Status: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Salary: $104,949 – $118,068 per annum + 11.5% superannuation
Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive local government committed to serving our diverse community in Sydney's vibrant eastern beaches. Our Community Development team is seeking a passionate and experienced LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Officer to lead inclusive initiatives and build stronger connections with LGBTIQA+ communities across the Randwick LGA.
Purpose:
To lead and support the design, coordination, and delivery of initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and meaningful participation for LGBTIQA+ people within Randwick City. This role fosters partnerships, strengthens community connections, and supports a culture of inclusion across Council and the wider community.
About the role:
- Lead and implement Council’s LGBTIQA+ community engagement and program delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local LGBTIQA+ organisations, services, and community groups.
- Support internal capacity building and staff awareness through inclusive policy, practice, and events.
About you:
- Experience in community development, LGBTIQA+ advocacy, inclusion, or human services.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, and service providers.
- Strong project coordination, communication, and facilitation skills.
