Our opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Development Manager to join our team based in Royal Oak.  Reporting to the National Category & Revenue Manager, this role embeds our long-term category ambitions with internal and external business partners. 

In this role you will:  

• Collaborate in the use of fact-based category, consumer, and shopper insights to develop category vision and strategies.   

• Conduct relevant analysis, monitor performance, and anticipate opportunities & threats to support robust decision making. 

• Proactively develop range and space management recommendations. 

• Manage range reviews with customers, providing recommendations, presenting insights, and leading internal meetings.  

About you  

You will be a naturally curious person, who enjoys building engaging stories using numbers, with excellent presentation skills, making the complex sound simple. You are analytical and data driven with exposure to category management, shopper marketing and FMCG sales.  

You’ll excel at building and maintaining strong long-lasting relationships with different stakeholders, both internal (Sales, Marketing, NPD, etc.) and external (retailers). 

Exposure to Nielsen, IRI, Quantium/Dunnhumby would be advantageous, but additional training can be provided.
