The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Finance team’s Management Accounting Function for a well-rounded Accountant to support in the delivery of key responsibilities including:  

  • Reporting, forecasting and analysis at a corporate, business and departmental level.
  • Financials, analysis, forecasting and consolidation of overseas businesses.
  • Budget preparation and consolidation.
  • Budgeting, accounting, and forecasting of SaaS projects.
  • Posting GL Journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Insurance renewals and claims.
  • Ad-hoc Projects.

 

Skills & Experience

  • High level of financial analysis skills, together with numerical skills and accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent collaborative interpersonal skills, characterised by clarity, empathy and integrity.
  • Previous team leadership experience (desirable).
  • Effective and authentic team building qualities.
  • Ability to be self-directed and work autonomously with initiative and good judgement.
  • Customer service focussed.
  • Strong written & verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to effectively manage competing demands and priorities.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting.
  • CPA/CA qualified (or studying towards).
  • 2+ year’s accounting experience.
  • Exposure to a large ERP accounting system (ideally SAP) will be highly regarded.
