Distribution Centre - Senior Team Leader - Afternoon Shift

The Role

This role will provide effective leadership to our Distribution Warehouse afternoon shift team, with a strategic focus on forward planning and creating a positive workplace culture.

The Shift: Sunday to Thursday – 3pm to 11pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and collaborative leadership to the afternoon shift team. 
• Maintain connections with team members through exceptional communication. 
• Lead safety, with involvement in incident and hazard management. 
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance management. 
• Ensure warehouse operation processes are followed to a high standard. 
• Analyse reporting, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to improve results. 
• Manage workflows and staffing needs. 
• Identifying and developing future talent. 
• Coordinate team member training and development. 
• Support recruitment processes as required. 
• Facilitate team meetings.   

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to lead and engage work teams in line with Sanitarium's values.
• Experience working as a Team Leader in a warehouse environment.
• A strong commitment to workplace, health & safety.
• Ability to drive a constructive culture with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in coaching and developing team members.
• Current Forklift licence.
• Qualifications in Leadership or willingness to attain it.
