We are currently recruiting an experienced Sales Executive, to join our national sales team based at our Head Office in Ultimo.
About the role.
In the role of Sales Executive, you’re the definition of a people person! You know the way to our clients’ hearts and leverage this to create lasting partnerships that both keep them smiling ear to ear and maximise business opportunities. You have the right commercial know-how and internal drive to deliver results driven sales promotions to not just achieve revenue targets but exceed them
Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales - Travel Partnerships you will play an integral part in our National Sales Team and drive sales for our hotels nationally, exceeding client expectations, delivering on their requirements, and establishing TFE as their company of choice.
Key responsibilities:
- Generating new sales opportunities and manage existing client relationships to drive revenue for all hotels.
- Actively seek out new business through networking, prospecting, and client appointments.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and future clients
- Manage key consortia, travel agents, professional conference organisers, and training companies partnerships.
- Monitor market trends and competitor analysis to continually refine and enhance sales offerings.
- Attend industry events, functions, and trade events
- Undertake property site inspections and client presentations to gain business.
About you:
- 2 years’ previous experience in hotel or travel industry sales with multiple products.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Previous experience using MS Office Suite and Salesforce (or similar)
- High-level attention to detail.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong and confident presentation skills
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Valid Australian drivers licence and own reliable car
- Full permanent working rights for Australia (essential)
