Role Purpose
Uniting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Leasing Manager to support the management and coordination of our diverse leasehold property portfolio across NSW and the ACT. Reporting to the Corporate Real Estate Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering property solutions that support Uniting’s operational needs and strategic goals.
With over 200 leased sites and more than $13.5M in annual rental commitments, as well as investment assets generating approximately $15M annually, this role is critical in ensuring optimal property performance and compliance across commercial, residential, and aged care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate Real Estate Manager in end-to-end property processes, including acquisitions, disposals, transactions, and contracts.
- Negotiate Residential Tenancy Agreements (RTAs) with landlords and agents.
- Liaise with internal Church bodies to manage leases, memoranda of understanding, and hire agreements.
- Ensure lease compliance and manage day-to-day lease administration (as both Lessee and Lessor).
- Oversee financial aspects of leasehold management, including budgeting, processing invoices, purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile financial reports in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Process and monitor rental payments, ensuring timely delivery in partnership with Finance.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders using SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Assist in the coordination of projects and support outputs across the Corporate Real Estate team.
- Maintain accurate records and registers for leased properties, financial commitments, and contract documentation.
- Manage team diaries, book meeting rooms and venues, and organise internal planning sessions.
- Administer and maintain document storage systems, including SharePoint and contract databases.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in commercial or residential property management.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence is essential.
- Proven expertise in corporate real estate transactions such as leasing, sales, acquisitions, and sale-and-leaseback strategies.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to property transactions.
- Experience engaging with external stakeholders including landlords, agents, and property owners.
- Strong skills in financial management and reporting.
- Ability to work across disciplines and support teams delivering services to vulnerable communities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Highly organised, systematic, and self-disciplined.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate or higher skills in Excel.
