About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Senior Exercise Physiologist, the role requires you to work across community and gym environments client group, under the guidance of an Allied Health Professional to deliver physical activity and exercise-based interventions to improve individual's health, fitness and well-being.

What you’ll be doing in this role 

  • Screen and assess health, movement, exercise, and performance capacity of people of health individuals.
  • Conduct active and functional program assessment reviews and seek guidance from Allied Health professional on assessment provided.
  • Deliver prescribed individual and group exercise sessions and ensuring compliance with Senior Gym policies and processes.
  • Support goal settings and sustainable behaviour change to help people achieve their health, wellbeing, fitness, and performance goals

Who we’re looking for 
Ideally, you’ll have a Tertiary qualification in Exercise Science or an equivalent qualification.

  • Accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Hold a valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Current and unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
