We welcome applications from students who are seeking a structured placement that aligns with their academic requirements currently enrolled in –
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

- Contact details, i.e. personal email, mobile number
- The name of the Registered Training Institute (RTO) you are studying at
- The total number of mandatory placement hours required
- The preferred placement starting and ending dates
- Your student work placement location(s)
Application review timeframes and process:
The ability to secure a student work placement at Uniting depends on several factors, including availability at your requested location, sufficient lead time (generally 6–8 weeks), and your ability to provide all required pre-requisite documents. Once you register, our team will review your application and attempt to match you with a suitable opportunity. An interview may be required before final selection.
While we do our best to accommodate expressions, placements are subject to availability and are considered an Expression of Interest (EOI) and are not guaranteed.
Important Requirements:
Once your placement has been approved, you’ll be prompted to upload your compliance documents, this can range from the following:
- Photo Identification
- Reference Checks
- National Police Check (Criminal Record Check)
- NDIS Worker Check (for placements in disability services)
- Work With Children Check (WWCC) clearance (where applicable)
- Public Liability Insurance Certificate / Certificate of Currency evidence from your education provider
- Vaccination Records (where applicable)
