Maintenance Supervisor Queenstown Lakes District

Citycare Property is proud to be partnering with Queenstown Lakes District Council.
We’ve been awarded the contract to deliver maintenance and facilities management services across council buildings in Queenstown, Wānaka, and the wider district.

As part of this exciting new chapter, we’re looking for a skilled leader to take charge of planned maintenance activities—focusing on improving efficiency, reducing reactive work, and minimising unplanned downtime. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in maintaining essential community assets across one of New Zealand’s most iconic regions.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga:

  • Planning resources effectively and working proactively with the local supply chain.
  • Overseeing maintenance operations to ensure work is completed on time, in full, and meets key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensuring all maintenance and repair work is carried out safely, to a high standard, and that any corrective actions are addressed promptly.
  • Keeping accurate records and ensuring maintenance data is captured with a high level of detail.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability by analysing performance data, contributing to long-term asset planning and capital investment.

 

What We’re Looking For| Ā Mātou e Rapu Ana:

 

  • 5 years + working in a Facilities Management Environment
  • A minimum qualification in Trades or Engineering
  • Proven experience in leading a maintenance or engineering team, including managing work allocation, resource planning scheduling, and work completion.
  • Ability to resource plan for multiple reactive and planned maintenance activities 
  • Experienced in maintaining essential site services including critical and compliance related assets.
  • Experienced in good practice facilities asset management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with various stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Strong attention to detail.
