Are you an experienced planner ready to make a difference in your community? Join our Planning & Development Solutions team as a Consents Planner and help deliver high-quality, customer-focused planning and resource management advice.

In this role, you’ll:

Provide timely, solutions-focused advice on planning and resource consents
Support statutory RMA processes, including hearings and Environment Court matters
Contribute to integrated planning solutions and service improvement projects
Manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement

What you’ll bring:

Relevant tertiary qualification in planning or related field
Experience with the Resource Management Act and local government processes
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Proactive, customer-focused approach and commitment to teamwork
Knowledge of Tikanga Māori is an advantage
