The opportunity!

Based at our Christchurch manufacturing plant, the Team Leader role is an important one that requires hands on operational capability. This role will lead the afternoon shift of 3, helping to load trucks ready for delivery. The shift time is 2:30pm - 11.00pm Monday to Friday.

Our ideal candidate will have previously worked in a logistics environment where delivery times are tight, and customer relations is prioritised. They will have leadership experience, a natural ability to influence and motivate others to do their best everyday as well as be results driven and a hunger to succeed. 

What you're there to do:

• Ensure the manifesting is correct and final load plans adjusted 
• Support the team with loading glass product onto trucks
• Problem solve issues and address issues quickly
• Be the in between for logistics and production in ensuring orders are complete
• Champion health and safety and compliance

Skills, characteristics & experience you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a logistics operations environment, leading a team and manifesting responsibility
• Great problem solving skills
• Be results driven
• Have accountability - own your decisions and actions
• Demonstrated knowledge of CI methodology and mindset
