About the opportunity

Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager, Make an Impact & Let Your Sales Skills Shine Through! Are you a dynamic and self-motivated professional ready to take on new challenges? PICA Group is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our team and support our vibrant VIC Branches. In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of building new client relationships and driving the onboarding of new property portfolios for our BCS Melbourne Branch. As a key player in our Strata Branch Network in VIC, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future success of our business.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, as the Business Development Manager you will have direct accountability for:

 

  • Building relationships and developing referral networks to create a sales pipeline
  • Delivering sales presentations and new business proposals to support the conversion of new business
  • Promoting PICA Group management services to body corporate schemes
  • Demonstrating creativity and innovation in way to engage with and attract potential clients
  • Negotiating terms and contracts with new clients
  • Working closely and in partnership with Branch Managers to help increase business opportunities
  • Delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Develop and implement sales plans and actions to meet and exceed sales budgets
  • Being an active member of the branch network by attending branch meetings and forming relationships with branch personnel to gather feedback from the branch portfolios and to help generate leads
  • Ensuring the Sales CRM (Salesforce) is accurately updated to ensure a transparent and efficient sales experience.

 

In this role you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, show off your exceptional time management skills, develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues, work across multiple systems and software, and be responsible for your own admin. Our team pride ourselves on being loyal, supportive and we always work with the highest integrity. We meet virtually each day only for 15 mins, to enhance and strengthen our relationships.

 

About you

We are open to people with proven sales experience in various industries, if you have the hunger to drive sales, are energetic, and thrive on achieving targets, then we want to meet with you. Ideally you will have

 

  • Minimum 3 years proven sales performance including outstanding prospecting skills, negotiation skills and persuasive ability in a self-monitoring, independent and complex sales environment
  • Experience in engaging clients to obtain referrals and new business
  • A passion for customer service and you are outcome-focused
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to travel when required
